Thermal Grizzly releases their WireView GPU Pro monitoring tool

Thermal Grizzly’s new WireView Pro GPU monitoring tool is now available

Back at Computex 2024, Thermal Grizzly showed us their new WireView Pro display. This display connects to the 12VHPWR or 12V-2X6 power connectors of modern GPUs and can display your graphics card’s power and current draw in real-time. Users can even use this tool to measure their GPU’s power draw over time.

This GPU monitoring tool was made as part of a collaboration between Elmor Labs and Thermal Grizzly. For both companies, safety is a priority. That’s why the WireView Pro can be used with up to two thermal sensors and even has an acoustic alarm that sounds when excessive overcurrent or overheating is detected.

The new WireView is undoubtedly a useful product for PC enthusiasts and overclockers, especially those who are concerned with the safety issues associated with the 12VHPWR standard.

The device features an OLED screen, which can be used to showcase your power connector’s current, voltage, and power draw. Users can also set this up to showcase your GPU’s average power draw over the past 60 seconds, and total power consumption over that time. Temperatures for individual temperature sensors can also be shown.

Thermal Grizzly’s WireView Pro is available in “Normal” and “Reverse” forms to suit all GPUs. Make sure you order the correct version for your graphics card to prevent the device from being mounted upside-down. Note that Thermal Grizzly doesn’t recommend touching this product while it is in use, especially when it is used with an RTX 4090 or other high-wattage GPUs. This product can get hot under load, especially for users of high-wattage liquid-cooled GPUs (where airflow is minimal).

The WireView GPU Pro is available now

Thermal Grizzly’s new WireView GPU Pro is available for €76.19 from the Thermal Grizzly website. This is a solid price for an enthusiast-class product like this. That said, it certainly isn’t for everyone. After all, most people don’t need an analytics tool like this.

You can join the discussion on Thermal Grizzly’s new WireView Pro GPU tool on the OC3D Forums.
