ZOTAC officially debunks alleged RTX 5090 factory video
Fake News! Zotac confirms that factory video doesn’t show Nvidia RTX 5090
Over the past few days, an alleged video of a Zotac RTX 5090 has been circulating online. We reported on this news yesterday, stating that the video isn’t showcasing an RTX 5090 GPU. Now, Zotac has responded, confirming that the video showcases their RTX 4070 Ti SUPER SOLID, not a next-generation GPU.
The video is an internal training recording of a trial production run at a Zotac facility in Indonesia. It shows the testing of newly installed production equipment, not the testing of their first RTX 5090 graphics card.
Below is Zotac’s full statement about their alleged RTX 5090 video.
Over the last two days, we have noticed inaccurate speculation circulating regarding a rumored new graphics card product allegedly being manufactured by ZOTAC. We wish to seize this opportunity to provide clarification that the product showcased in the associated video source is, in fact, an existing product currently in production known as the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER SOLID.
The video that has gone viral online pertains to an internal training recording of a trial production run at our facility in Indonesia, intended to test the performance of newly installed production equipments.
We reserve our right to claim against any unfounded speculation.
This factory video and the news surrounding it is a classic case of a video being taken out of context. Since the video has a round of applause and showcases a large graphics card, it was easy to claim that the GPU in question was an early RTX 5090. Now, we can confirm that this wasn’t the case. Zotac were simply testing new equipment with an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER SOLID GPU.
