Yesterday Square Enix treated us to a five-minute long Just Cause 3 trailer, which went into great detail about the game’s new features. However, if you still have an appetite for destruction, YouTuber PS360HD has just over 10 minutes of fresh Just Cause 3 gameplay on their channel.

In the gameplay, PS360HD talks about the refined grapple hook, freedom of approach, vehicles, the immersive environment and destruction. A lot of destruction. The grapple hook has been remade, innovating the destruction game.

You can now use the grapple hook to take objects like utility poles down. Something that’s new in Just Cause 3 is that every time you approach a big structure that needs to be destroyed, you get three options on how you can do it. A statue could be taken down in three different ways, called ‘Farmer’s Revenge’, ‘Stop Hitting Yourself’ and ‘Car-tapult’. I think these options all speak for themselves.

PS360HD states that you can go anywhere you want. If you see a village on the horizon, you can go there, which is nice. One of the most epic events in the video was definitely the destruction of a gas plant. By using the grapple hook, Rico make an enormous gas tank explode, destroying the entire plant. Shame they looked at the explosion, which made it slightly less epic.

If you want to see the gameplay for yourself, you can do so below. Are you excited for Just Cause 3? Let us know.
