Right now a modder called Skacikpl is working in a First Person mod for The Witcher 3, allowing gamers to completely change the way they can view the beautiful world of the Witcher 3 in a whole new way.

Right now this mod is a work in progress, but skacikpl has already released several videos showcasing the game from a first person perspective, including in-game combat.

Right now the first person camera is attached directly to the head of Geralt, making camera movement jerky and very hard to use. The mod also has several other issues like objects disappearing when too close to the camera and visible shuttering on Geralt's body when the game is running at below 60FPS.

The modder has stated that he will not release the mod until it is working as intended, meaning that this mod may never release to the public.

This mod gives us a very interesting new look into the world of The Witcher 3, one that we very much hope to see more of in the future. Let's hope that the efforts of Skacikpl are fruitful and that this mod does eventually get released, as I for one would love to play the game again through the eyes of Geralt himself.
