AMD announce RX 470 and RX 460 specifications

AMD has announced the specifications of their RX 470 and RX 460 GPUs, confirming that the RX 470 will feature a Polaris 10 GPU core that only has 4 less CUs than that RX 480, making this GPU looks like a great budget performer for AMD's new GPU product stack.

Below is a table that compares the known specifications of the RX 460 and RX 470 compared to AMD's recently released RX 480 GPU. Hopefully, we will learn more specifications soon, including core clock speeds.

Right now it looks like AMD's RX 460 will come at the price point that is under $100 and will offer performance that is similar to the GPUs used in current generation consoles and the RX 470 GPU will offer performance that is not VR ready, but perfect for low cost 1080p gamers.

For such a small price difference I can't see myself ever recommending the 460. 470 will be over twice as fast and probably consume barely more wattage. And let's hope the 460 isn't limited by the PCI 75watt limit.. or that's gonna blow up bigQuote

little dissapointing line up tbh, I was hoping for some really great stuff from AMD this time around. Still its worth me to upgrade from my 370 to the 480 this year Quote
