AMD cuts the price of their RX 470 and RX 460 GPUs

For the past few months, AMD has been unchallenged in the low-end market with Nvidia having no lower end Pascal GPUs to compete. This has made the RX 460 and RX 470 popular amongst entry level gamers, coming in at some fairly affordable prices and low levels of power consumption.

Later this week Nvidia will be releasing their GTX 1050 and GTX 1050Ti GPUs for the price of $109.99 and $139.99, prompting AMD to drop the price of their RX 460 and RX 470 GPUs by $10 each. This will make the retail price of an RX 460 just $99.99, which is cheaper than the Nvidia GTX 1050 and make the RX 470 4GB just $159.99, which should give gamers a lot of extra performance for just $20 more than a GTX 1050Ti.
