AMD has reportedly sent out invites to their Polaris 10 launch event at Computex 2016. The e-mail reveals that AMD is planning a big press conference, taking place on June 1st. In the invite, AMD states that they will provide 'comprehensive details on many 2016 products', including the 7th generation of APUs. Most interesting, however, is the title of the e-mail: 'AMD Polaris 10 Launch at Computex, Taipei'.

The specifications of Polaris 10 and 11 were leaked just a few days ago. Polaris 10 will reportedly feature 390x-like performance, at half the TDP and with an MSRP of $299. Polaris 11, on the other hand, will be in between the R9 370 and 380 performance-wise, with a TDP of just 50W. This means that Polaris 11 will be able to run on just the PCI-E power, without requiring external power connectors.

AMD's press conference will reportedly take place on the 1st of June, at 10:00 AM local time. Should this leaked e-mail be true, Computex will definitely be an event worth watching. We'll keep you up to date.

May 26th-29th was reported last time. Hence why I was asking if it was true or not earlier. For all we know it could still be true and be Polaris 11 or mobile Polaris launched whereas Computex is for Polaris 10Quote
