AMD releases a beta GPU driver for Windows 10's Fall Creators Update

Windows 10's Fall Creators Update is set to launch today, bringing with it updates to Game Mode, support for Windows Mixed Reality (VR) Headsets and updates to Cortana, OneDrive and more. 

With this new update will also come several GPU related changes, like the addition of GPU performance monitoring in Windows Task manager. AMD has now released a new Beta GPU driver for this new version of Windows 10, though please note that this driver does ship with a few known bugs/issues.

Known Issues

- Mixed Reality headsets may fail to render when running in Hybrid Graphics system configurations.
- A limited number of displays may exhibit brief signal loss periodically.
- System hang may occur during Mixed Reality 360 videos playback on Radeon RX Vega series graphics products.
- An HDCP error code may be observed while playing Blu-Ray content on a secondary attached display.
- Radeon WattMan profiles and settings may not persisting after resuming from sleep.
- A system restart or hang may be observed when launching DX12 applications on Multi GPU enabled system configurations with Radeon ReLive enabled.

I'd actually like to see these changes or additions to Windows Game Mode, Could be exciting

According to a Microsoft person the new Game Mode allows more access to the hardware -

Nice find! Definitely sounds like MS is trying to improve the PC Gaming experience. They've done little since trying to recommit to gaming.
Would love to see some benchmarrks if it benefits Shadow of WarQuote
