AMD RX 480 Crossfire benchmark results leak online

Crossfire results for AMD's RX 480 have leaked online, showing 81% more performance than just a single RX 480 setup and GTX 1080 levels of performance.

Almost all of the results shown here were run with a GPU at 1266MHz, with only the Firestrike Performance single GPU benchmark running at a lower speed of 1231MHz. This hints that the AMD reference RX 480 GPU design will run at clock speeds of 1266MHz, though these speeds are yet to be confirmed by AMD.

While the RX 480 does seem to scale well in Crossfire we must remember that not all games will run well with multiple GPUs, meaning that systems with two RX 480 GPUs will not always perform better than Nvidia's GTX 1080 GPU.

Better than expected, but i fear those CF issues and considering it's 'leaked' this could be exaggerated results. Still a performance increase over the 1070 which is hard to ignore.Quote

Well the performance is probably gonna be on par with 1070, perhaps slightly more. And we're back at the obvious question: Would you rather have one or two graphics cards giving the same performance, costing about the same? Easy to answer...Quote

I blame VideoCardz. They keep pumping out all the leaked GPU stuff. It's like why have a NDA. They post everything anywaysQuote

Would be hilarious if a company altered the product just to spite them. Expensive..Quote
