AMD's Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT are due to release in March

AMD's Radeon RX 6800 and 6900 series graphics cards are only the start of AMD's RDNA 2 lineup. Lower-end Radeon 6000 series products are coming, offering gamers lower pricing and more value for money than their larger Big Navi lineup.

AMD's Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT will replace the company's existing RX 5700 series models, offering gamers the benefits of AMD's RDNA 2 architecture, which include support for Microsoft's DirectX 12 Ultimate feature set, higher clock speeds and support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing through Vulkan and DirectX 12.  }

According to Cowcotland, AMD's Radeon RX 6700 series graphics cards will be launched at the end of Q1, placing AMD's release date sometime in late March. If older rumours of AMD's Radeon RX 6700 series are correct, both its XT and non-XT variant will feature AMD's Infinity Cache memory and 12GB of GDDR6 memory over a 192-bit memory bus.

AMD's RX 6700 series will likely be based on AMD's Navi 22 XT silicon, which reportedly features 40 CUs, the same CU count as AMD's RX 5700 XT. This should mean that AMD's RX 6700 XT will feature 40 CUs, making it an RDNA 2 replacement for AMD's RX 5700 XT. With the Radeon RX 6700 XT, we should see AMD's RDNA 2 architecture's true benefits.
