AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 23.2.1 is a bug deal for Radeon owners

AMD’s latest Radeon drivers are a big deal for users of RX 6000 series and older GPUs

The folks over at Radeon have just released AMD Software Adrenalin Edition version 23.2.1, unifying the company’s Radeon RX 7000 series drivers with their legacy AMD Software to allow all of their supported graphics cards to utilise the same driver install package. This allows AMD’s RX 6000 series and older graphics cards to be supported by AMD’s latest AMD Software releases, giving all Radeon users access to the latest game optimisations, GPU features, and more.

With AMD Software 23.2.1, Radeon has added support for Forspoken, Dead Space, and a wide range of new Vulkan API features. Additionally, AMD has implemented a suite of performance optimisations that give users of AMD’s older and latest graphics cards a notable performance boost in many popular games. These games include F1 22, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and more.

In F1 22, AMD’s latest AMD Software released offers gamers up to a 19% performance increase at 4K for users of AMD’s RX 6950 XT, and up to a 9% performance boost in DOOM Eternal at 4K using the game GPU. These performance optimisations make AMD Software 23.2.1 a must download for Radeon GPU users, as the broad scope of these performance optimisations suggest that many other games will receive a performance boost with AMD’s latest GPU drivers.
