AMD to soon release an R9 370X GPU

It looks like AMD are soon going to release an R9 370X GPU to compete with Nvidia's upcoming GTX 950 GPU. It looks like things are heating up in the low end GPU market.

To start off it looks like AMD's R9, or R7 (not entirely sure yet) 370X GPU is going to be a rebranded version of AMD's existing R9 270X GPU. This will mean that the GPU will use the same silicon and have very similar specifications to it's last iteration.

As we can see from the GPU-z screenshot above the Rx 370X has the same clock speeds as as the R9 270X, but we must not that the average R9 270X did have lover clock speeds than this, so AMD's newer iteration could have a higher clock speed that you average R9 270X.

with new GPUs coming from both AMD and Nvidia, the lower end of the market should be packed full of great deals and competitive pricing over the next few months, which is perfect for those who want to build a budget PC in the upcoming "back to school" period.
