AMD will be delivering an advanced Vega GPU Preview on January 5th

AMD will be delivering an advanced Vega GPU Preview at CES 2017, finally showcasing what their next generation of GPUs are capable of.

This event will be taking place on January 5th at 2pm GMT, a mere 12 hours after Nvidia's CES keynote. This will make the 5th of January, 4th/5th of January for our American readers, some very important date/dates for gaming/GPU enthusiasts.

At CES 2017 AMD are also expected to officially launch their Ryzen series of CPUs, alongside their new AM4 platform, making CES a very exciting time for any PC enthusiast.

So far, AMD has been very tight-lipped about Vega, only briefly showcasing their new GPU architecture at their New Horizons event earlier this month.

Hoping it's not another LOLcard with a radiator on it. The blocks for Fury X are just stupid money. AMD need to go back to a standard.

If Vega is even half decent and has a reasonably priced block I will consider it.

Still on the fence with HBM/2. Just an unnecessary expense for very little gain.Quote

Seeing as AMD have just put up a facebook page as well it looks like they are very excited about Vega. I personally will be buying a Sapphire card as I like their coolers my 290X stays at 60C when gaming Quote
