AOC announce AG241 series 1440p FreeSync and G-Sync monitors

 
AOC has announced two new AG241 series 1440p monitors, with one supporting FreeSync and the other supporting G-Sync. Both of these panels will use 23.8-inch TN-film LCD panels, offering a 1ms grey-to-gray response time.
 
These two monitors will be the 144Hz FreeSync AG241QX and the 165Hz G-Sync AG241QG, both of which are expected to become available in November with expected pricing of around £389 and £519 respectively.

Both the AG241QX and AG241QG will be compatible with VESA mounts, will contain a 4-port USB 3.0 ports and will have a retractable headset hook on the side. Both of these monitors will have both DisplayPort 1.2/1.2a and HDMI inputs.

That Red makes it so unattractive. At first i though, "well, its on the rear so its hidden" but then I saw the logo on the front lower part of the bezel.

Yeah, 24" 1440p would be close to 32" 4K in terms of sharpness, which is really what the resolution fight is all about, without the added pain of running it at 4K or fitting a massive screen on your desk. It's cheaper too. General multi-tasking and web browsing might need some resolution scaling applied via Windows, but those with 27-29" 4K screens might choose to do that anyway.Quote
