Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection has been announced

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection has been announced for Xbox One and PS4. This new collection will release on November 17th and will not be coming to the PC platform.

At this time Ubisoft has not announced any visual enhancements to the three included games, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations. These new versions will be running at a resolution of 1080p on both consoles, though at this time no other visual enhancements are expected.

The Ezio trilogy are easily some of the best games in the Assassin's Creed series, making them a prime candidate for an HD rerelease. Right now it seems like these HD rereleases of Assassin's Creed will offer the same visuals as the existing PC versions of the games, which means that PC gamers already have access to these games at high resolutions and framerates.

So if they got them to run at 1080p, isn't that an enhancement? Or did I misinterpret the article?Quote
