CES has started to get very interesting as the keen eyes writers at PC Perspective find the next Iteration of  ASUS's ROG Swift. This monitor is the PG27AQ, which is pictured below and has a 4K IPS screen which runs at 60Hz and used Nvidia's G-Sync technology.

Aesthetically this monitor looks very similar to the ASUS' current PG278Q 1440p 144Hz ROG Swift monitor, the real differences will be with the panel itself. This 4K version sacrifices the higher refresh rate for a higher resolution and the superior image quality provided by an IPS Screen, that being said how many games would be able to run at 144Hz at 4K?

We do not know many details apart form these specs but ASUS say that this monitor will be available in "the second half ot 2015". ASUS's press event is set to start later today, so we may have more details for you guys tomorrow.

So the current 4K IPS from Asus runs around £600, Put ROG tax on it and this will probably be £1000.Quote
