ASUS announce their GTX 960 Mini GPU

ASUS has just announced their GTX 960 Mini, a combination of ASUS' Mini-ITX friendly cooling and board design with Nvidia's latest GPU design. This GPU looks almost identical to their previous GTX 670 and GTX 760 Mini GPUs, but this time ASUS will be using Nvidia's latest Maxwell architecture instead of Kepler.

The full length of this GPU is just 17cm long, making this GPU shorter than most motherboards and very suitable for Mini ITX Systems or other compact PC cases. This GPU features a dense aluminium heatsink, complete with several heatpipes and cooled by ASUS' "CoolTech" fan.

The GPU is factory overclocked with a 1190MHz base clock and a boost clock of 1253MHz, with the 2GB of GDDR5 memory at it's stock clock of 7.00GHz. I imagine overclocking will be a little limited due to the GPUs cooling potential and the compact nature of the systems it will  likely be used in, at least compared to ASUS's other models with larger coolers and more beefy power circuitry.

This GPU will be powered by a single 6-pin power connector, which is unsurprising given the known power efficiency of Nvidia's Maxwell architecture.

This GPU comes complete with a full cover GPU backplate and has variety of display outputs, including; a single Dual Link DVI connector, an HDMI 2.0 connector and 3 Display Port 1.2 connectors.

ASUS have not yet revealed the pricing or availability of this GPU.

not enough Vram IMO. You'd have a unique rig if you had SLI mini cards though.
