ASUS'  upcoming GTX 980Ti Strix Ice GPU has been leaked, featuring RGB lighting and will be cooled by a high quality Bitspower full cover water block.

According to the latest rumors on this GPU it will be the first ASUS GPU that will feature RGB lighting, which can be controlled using the same software as ASUS' RGB motherboards like the Maximus VIII Hero and the Maximus VIII Formula.

This GPU will be powered by dual PCIe 8-pin power connectors and features a beefy overclocking ready PCB, which will hopefully allow this GPU to achieve large overclocks.

The GPU features a similar backplate design to other recent ASUS Strix series GPUs, with the front of the water block featuring a similar look.

When compared to Nvidia's reference GTX 980Ti the Strix Ice is both longer and taller, giving ASUS more PCB space in order to fit in a more complex power delivery system with a total of 14 power phases.

For connectivity the GPU will have 3 DisplayPort 1.2 ports, a single DVI port and an HDMI 2.0 port. Right now this GPU is rumored to cost $899, which is around $150 more than a standard GTX 980Ti.

Damm. I want 2 now!

Looking to major update of my H440 rig thats sitting idle right now. Two of those would be mighty good.

I'd rather have no block at all than have this Playmobil piece of RGB'nes dangling off of this card and be worried that some slow kindergarten kids try and shove it up it's nose.

Also who from Asus was the one accepting the design for the RED brace on the back for a RGB card? They could have done so well with something fitting the Maximus boards but completely rekt themselves by playing with too much Playmobil apparently.Quote

That's not too bad considering the price of a full cover block. I don't love the cutout for the logo on the front but it's certainly not offensive. I would prefer if it was reversed so the eyes and nose were illuminated by the cutout.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more GPUs come out with a block already attached.Quote

What about motherboards with the CPU cooler already attached?
