ASUS is working with Noctua to create a custom RTX 3070 GPU
Thanks to @KOMACHI_ENSAKA, we have gotten a look at a new EEC listing that Noctua's working with ASUS on a custom RTX 3070 graphics card. At this time, nothing is known about this new graphics card, be it its colour scheme or its heatsink design.
ASUS has previously collaborated with Noctua to provide fans for their Ryujin series of All-in-One (AIO) liquid coolers, suggesting that Noctua's custom RTX 3070 graphics card may be cooled by a custom water block design and a radiator with Noctua fans.
Alternatively, Noctua may be planning to utilise their heatsink design prowess to create the RTX 3070's full GPU heatsink, effectively creating the NH-D15 of GPU heatsinks.
With the ECC listing prominently displaying Noctua's branding, it is also worth considering the colour scheme of ASUS' Noctua-series graphics card. Will it be brown/beige like Noctua's main series liquid coolers, or will it use a grey or black colour scheme like Noctua's Redux/Chromax series designs?
Noctua's hardware roadmap mentions no plans to create a custom GPU or graphics card heatsink. That said, Noctua plans to release black versions of its NF-A12x25 fans in Q4 2021, fans that could be used with a liquid cooled graphics card. Will ASUS' RTX3070-8G-NOCTUA be an RTX graphics card with a Ryujin style liquid cooler and Noctua NF-A12x25 fans? I guess we will have to wait and see.

way overpriced turd brown GPU....
make no mistake i love noctua coolers... but that is what i expect. |
i'd expect it to be even more expensive on top of the Asus Tax, but should be cool and quiet.Quote

You know Noctua do chroma range now? which has industrial silver and black...

yes and they do grey for a while too. for their cheaper fans (redux).
i guess that is what you mean when you say silver.
still i expect a turd brown design.Quote
It's a shame that ASUS is the partner to do this because as Dark Knight says they're just going to use this to put even more tax on top of the asus tax. BUT... I do love Noctua and am excited to see what they come up with (if it's an air cooled card and not an AIO)Quote
