ASUS released GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti Cerberus GPU models

ASUS has started to distribute their new GTX 1050 series of Cerberus graphics cards, offering a unique cooler and backplate design with both GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti series models, both of which lack the need for external power. 

These two models are designed for use in gaming iCafes, releasing with a 144-hour burn-in test to ensure functionality and an attractive aesthetic that will give the PCs they are used in a premium feel. Both graphics cards will utilise the same PCB and cooler designs, with the only difference being the in VRAM capacity and GTX core design, with the GTX 1050 Ti model offering 4GB of VRAM while the GTC 1050 only provides 2GB of VRAM.  

Like many low power GPU designs in this price bracket, ASUS has opted to use a monoblock aluminium heatsink design with two 80mm fans for cooling, with a 3+1 phase VRM design which is powered exclusively from the GPU’s PCI slot. Both graphics card models will offer DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections.

Both graphics cards will ship with a moderate factory overclock, with the GTX 1050 Ti Cerberus coming with base clocks of 1341MHz and boost clocks of 1455 MHz, while the GTX 1050 Cerberus ships with base clocks of  1404MHz and boost clocks of 1518 MHz. Both models will offer the same 7.00GHz memory speeds.
