ASUS ROG announce their XG Station 2 external graphics enclosure
ASUS ROG has announced their XG Station 2 external thunderbolt graphics enclosure, allowing graphics cards to be easily connected to compatible laptops.
The ROG XG Station 2 has also been designed to make use of a proprietary connector that can yield 15% more performance than the Thunderbolt 3 connection and can be plugged and unplugged without needing to restart your laptop. Using this connection will also enable this unit to use additional bandwidth to use the Station's Gigabit LAN socket and several USB 3.0 ports.
This enclosure is compatible with the latest AMD and Nvidia GPUs and contains a 680W power supply that is more than enough to power even the most power hungry of modern GPUs.
