Batman: The Telltale Series receives its first PC patch

Batman: The Telltale Series receives its first PC patch, adding lower graphical options to the game and forcing the game to run on a laptop's dedicated GPU whenever possible.

Right now Batman: The Telltale Series has mixed reviews on Steam, with a lot of gamers stating that they are experiencing performance issues with the game. Telltale has investigated these issues and found that many of these issues are due to gamers running the game on integrated graphics on Laptops, rather than dedicated GPUs or due to out of date GPU drivers.

A patch was released yesterday to help address performance on PC

  • - Automatically defaults the game to run on dedicated graphics card
  • - Adds graphics settings to enable selection of Higher Performance Textures or Higher Quality Textures (please select Higher Performance if performance is an issue)

Telltale games appeal to a very wide range of gamers and have in the past been played by a lot of laptop users who are not necessarily using gaming-oriented PCs.

We recommend that gamers check this game's PC system requirements before purchasing it and make sure that they are using up-to-date GPU drivers.
