Battlefront Fighter Squadron trailer Released

Star War's Battlefront's Fighter Squadron trailer has been released, showing a flyable Millennium Falcon and Slave One as well as a selection of other famous Star Wars fighters.

For fans of the epic Star Wars™ scenes with Rebel and Imperial ships facing off in intense dogfights, Fighter Squadron is the ultimate Star Wars™ Battlefront™ game mode.

Looking at this trailer it looks like this game mode will not just be a simple Dogfighting mode, but also be objective based, with players competing to attack of defend targets. In the trailer you see an Imperial landing craft as the designated target, though there is potential for this to be expanded to a much wider range of vehicles or star ships.

We can also see in this mode that Hero ships will also be flyable in this mode, allowing you o take the pilots seat of the Millennium falcon as Han Solo or as Boba Fett Piloting Slave One.

Hopefully this mode will have a wide variety of objectives, otherwise it could bet boring fast, a few examples of potential targets could be land based convoys, retreating star destroyers or guarding a set of bombers as they bomb land based targets. Hopefully this level of variety is available in the game, but right now we only have this short trailer to go on.

The ui looks really bad and doesnt fit to the game imo.
But if the dogfighting is anything like in BF4 I could get pretty damn happy!Quote

From the Alpha, it isn't. at all

The trailer 'escalated' quickly, but ultimately this is kind of just air superiority with moving objectives and some added flair from the special ships..

I'm 'okay' with this, but the flight needs to be better than it was in the Alpha it's not super great for this kind of gameplay yet.Quote
