In just three months, us gamers will be able to return to the Capital Wasteland again, in search of loot, interesting quest lines and extremely graphic violence. The next installment in the Fallout franchise will launch on the 10th of November, and we couldn’t be more excited. Although some fans were disappointed by the graphics of the game. In response, Bethesda told Metro UK that they’re not worried about the criticism at all. ‘You never get 100% agreement on everything,’ says Pete Hines, Head of Marketing at Bethesda.

“At the end of the day, whether it’s what the graphics look like or whether the gameplay is what you want or whether you like the setting, or whatever it is, everybody is entitled to their opinion.”

When asked if there were any internal discussions following the negative feedback on the graphics, Hines simply said ‘No.’ Hines states that they [at Bethesda] try and focus on the feedback of people who have actually experienced their games. This helped them with finding out what people liked after receiving feedback from games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dishonored, Fallout 3 etc.

“You can use whatever criteria you want to buy or not buy a game, because ultimately it’s not up to me. I don’t get to go up to each individual consumer and say, ‘You have to buy this game or I’m gonna try and convince you otherwise!’ I put out information in the best way possible to give people a good idea, ‘Here’s what we’re doing and here’s what it’s gonna be like’.”

Of course, you can’t deny that there are way prettier games out there, but we’re talking about a massive open world game here. Anyhow, Fallout 4 will launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One this year. What do you think about the graphics? Do you think they look fine, or do you agree with the fans and are you disappointed with them? Let us know.

This game does look good though it's just the usual crowd wanting everything to have super uber Cryengine 3 or Unreal Engine 4 graphics Quote
