Bethesda has created DOOM's BFG in real life

Bethesda has created DOOM's BFG in real life, a gun that is over a 1 meter long, 50cm wide and 50cm tall. This 1:1 scale model was created by My Mini Factory who 3D Printed and painted this massive weapon for a future Bethesda contest.

This weapon is the largest and most powerful weapon in DOOM, easily dwarfing ordinary humans in size and requiring a mighty marine to wield it.

In one of the biggest and most ambitious 3D printing challenges we have ever seen, MyMiniFactory set about building a 1:1 scale 3D printed BFG for one lucky contest winner.

This weapon took over 35 hours to design and over 1000 hours to print with over 70 parts being used to construct the BFG.
