Civilization: Beyond - Earth Rising Tide DLC Walkthrough.

Civilization remains one of PC's most iconic strategy game series, though with recent iterations of the game usually suffer from the same problem, that the "last Game with All the DLC was better". While Civilization: Beyond Earth is no doubt a fantastic game, it is hard to beat the additional complexity and wide range of features that Civilization V had when combined with it's Brave New World and Gods & King's Expansions.

There is only one way to fix the problem of Beyond Earth's lack of gameplay features compared to it's predecessor, expand! With Beyond Earth's Rising Tide DLC the game will be going to a place where no Civ game has gone before, into the open seas, where a whole new variety of options are made available to build cities, capture territory and at the same time for you enemy, both alien and human alike to destroy or otherwise hamper you Civilizations progress.

The below trailer showcases many of the new features which have been added to the game, including ocean cities, new Civilization, Aliens and Human Unit types as well as a whole new set of diplomatic options.

This expansion is due out in Autumn of this year, bringing more than what should be expected form a modern game's DLC, this is a full on expansion, so expect the game to completely change rather than receive a few subtle tweaks.

Not going to lie, but this game was quite boring and to me Civ 5 was much more fun. I tried getting into this game but couldn't do it. So I won't be buying this DLC. Wish the steam refund thing came out long time ago so I could have gotten my money back unfortunatelyQuote
