Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - The Mechanical Apartheid

Square Enix has released their new "The Mechanical Apartheid" trailer for Deus Ex Mankind Divided, which reveals exactly why augmented and non-augmented humans hold such distrust for each other.

While many people do not like the idea of humans playing god and bypassing humanity's limitations via technology, the primary cause of the segregation and hatred between the augmented and standard humans mostly stems back to a single event. In 2017 augmented humans worldwide were hacked and suffered from extreme delusions which made them attack other humans, leaving millions of people dead or injured after the event.

In 2027, mechanically-augmented people all over the world suffered from extreme psychotic delusions, lost control of themselves, and started attacking people. Millions died. Hundreds of thousands more were injured and maimed.

With augmented humans being significantly stronger than other humans and much more dangerous apartheid became one of the only options to keep the public safe after the events of 2017, setting the scene for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 23rd 2016 and will support DirectX 12 and TressFX 3.0 on PC.

Looks good. I might actually have to pick up Human Revolution for my PC. I had it on PS3, but I got rid of the system to build a gaming PC before I could get too into it; of course then the whole Skyrim mods thing took over and I completely forgot about Deus Ex.Quote

You will not regret it. That game is golden

I hope my hype won't kill my experience with Mankind Divided, thoughQuote
