DOOM will soon have an Open Multiplayer Beta

DOOM will soon have an Open Multiplayer Beta. The beta will take place between April 15th and 18th and will require no codes for access.

Those who play the beta will be able to play both Team Deathmatch and Warpath (A moving king of the Hill Style mode) on the Heatwave and Infernal Maps, which while limited is more than enough to give players a good taste of the game before it releases on May 13th. Players with Access to the closed beta have been able to play the game since Match 31st.

Is the rice okay? Did it spill? How will I get it out of the carpet?

It's as relevant as you want. Or not.

Schroedingersdoom it may be - but I'm looking forward to it. Maybe it's got something to do with being old enough to remember the original (and the motion sickness that came with it)

Same as Wolfenstein.Quote

Oh God the 90 degree turns on a canal boat feeling. And mum was blaming the gore.

I think I am one of the few that still loves doom 3. I mean it wasn't amazing but the atmosphere was great. Even as predictable as it was I still jumped when the scum bags came out of a dark corner. Tried it a few weeks ago and it still makes me shout at the screen for making me jump despite knowing it was going to happen.Quote
