Elite: Dangerous Powerplay has launch today, allowing you to take part in some interstellar conquest. Every player can now adjust the balance of power across the galaxy between 10 factions. Will you help one side achieve victory or act a a mercenary for your own personal profit?

 

 

Allegiance. Reward. Power. 

Powerplay is an ongoing battle for interstellar conquest and control that touches and enhances every aspect of the Elite: Dangerous experience. Ally yourself with a galactic Power, guide their strategy, earn valuable perks and bonuses, and dominate human-occupied space together. Every player’s choices and actions can impact the balance of galactic power.

 

Elite Dangerous is currently available on Steam and on Frontiers own website and will be coming to Xbox One at a later date.

I need to actually get back into playing it.. I've only played about 11 hours or so of it i'd say.. in the beginning it was pretty boring tbh.Quote

think i have something like 20 odd hours logged on it myself, the new stuff should add a fair bit more depth to the game thoughQuote

Ya recently they have added a lot of new features, it's pretty different from launch. I went back to play a hour or two couple weeks back and i felt like I was starting over. It was much more fun, this new war stuff seems like a good time to get back to it.. think i'll be a mercenaryQuote
