EVGA has just released their Fallout 4 Edition GTX 970 SuperSC+, giving gamers a custom fallout 4 themed backplate and a factory overclock of 140MHz. This GPU will also come in a Fallout 4 themed box but sadly without a copy of the game.

The GPU is more or less the same as EVGA's standard GTX 970 SSC but with a custom backplate, coming with the standard dual fan EVGA GPU cooler and the standard 1 DVI, 3 DisplayPort and a single HDMI 2.0 connector.

The biggest shame about this GPU is that right now it is exclusive to bestbuy in the US and will likely never appear elsewhere in the world, doomed to tempt Fallout junkies and custom PC builders with the prospect of International postage.

It would have been great if EVGA were able to build a GPU had both a custom cooler and backplate, perhaps with Vault-Tec's standard Blue and yellow colour scheme.

I gotta agree with that. With almost every card over the past year being bundled with a "AAA Title" game of some kind, you would think that a Fallout 4 themed card would come bundled with it.

Atomic powered hype!Quote

sad sad and wait for it..... SAD

Wonder how many would go custom backplates from a 3rd party since its going to be a pain to get one of these cards even if one did want one. At least for the majority of people.Quote

I'd have liked it if they had actually made an effort to make the card different from the backplate. I've always had a soft spot for game-special edition GPUs. Even if they are always a lazy sticker job.Quote
