Evolve 1.1 patch adds FOV slider and 21:9 monitor support

Evolve PC Specs Revealed

Evolve 1.1 patch adds FOV slider and 21:9 monitor support

The latest Evolve patch adds FOV slider and 21:9 monitor support. The patch also adds several bug fixes and improved stability.

While these fixes will be very helpful to a lot of PC gamers, the real problem is the fact that the game currently has a smal player base, with only around 3000 people currently playing it, which is a lot smaller than it's peak of 27,403. This player-base is a lot smaller than Left for Dead 2, less than half in fact, one of Turtle Rock's previous games

The following is some of the many changes, as a more detailed list was not provided.

  • -Added FOV slider to the options menu
  • -Improved 21:9 monitor support
  • -Improved support for shared memory GPUs
  • -Various Progression / Mastery balance changes
  • -Improved Direct X stability
  • -Fixed a windows timer issue may have caused FPS problems on some systems
  • -Fix for a shadow rendering bug
  • -Fixed “five Hunter” bug
  • -Fix for disappearing/persisting mouse cursor

All the early peoples said it was a fun game too. Marketing budget probably limited them i guessQuote

wow really only 3000?

That explains why the matchmaking is so abysmal.. I had no idea it was so low!

It's bloody good fun Shame it fell off a cliff

Edit: Also this -Fix for disappearing/persisting mouse cursor

That's come along FAR too late, should have been a day0 or day1 patch, horrendously annoying bug.Quote
