Fallout 4 Looks Great!

Fallout 4 was "Basically Done" before it was announced

When Fallout 4 was announced at E3 many people were very impressed at how polished and feature complete the game looked, though that didn't stop many fans of the series requesting more new features from this highly anticipated sequel.

According to Bethesda's marketing director Pete Hines the game is "basically done" and that it is too late to add new features. The studio is now dedicated to bug fixing and fine tuning the games systems.

"Let's be honest, [right now] it doesn't matter what anybody wants for a feature in Fallout 4,"
"The game is basically done. It was by and large done before we announced it, in terms of the features going in. You're not adding new features in May, June, July in the year you're releasing; you're trying to get everything fixed."

Hines also said that the studio wished to learn from the mistakes of their prior titles like Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, in order to deliver a title that players will enjoy and generally make fallout 4 a better game.

"All of that stuff is important. A good developer knows how to take all that and figure out how to address is,"

"You can do anything, you just can't do everything. So you have to be able to prioritize and figure out what are the big wins, what are the challenges you're going to tackle, and what are the things you just don't have the bandwidth to take on."

Fallout 4 will be releasing on November 10th on PC, Xbox One and PS4, only 5 months after it was announced to the world.
