During their E3 keynote Bethesda has announced that they will be releasing Fallout 4 for the HTC Vive in 2017, offering the most immersive Fallout experience to date.

While Bethesda has not released many details on the new VR version of the game, we do know that the game will require some significant changes. One example is that the game will need the ability to run at 90FPS, instead of the games current framerate cap of 60 and other gameplay tweaks that will prevent motion sickness and other related issues while traveling throughout the commonwealth.

Right now we do not know if Fallout 4 will make use of the HTC Vive's motion controllers, or if the game will also support the Oculus Rift. Hopefully we will learn more about Fallout 4's HTC Vive VR version during the rest of E3.
