FIFA 17 has been announced, with its reveal trailer confirming that the game will be using DICE's Frostbite Engine. The first full trailer for the game will be revealed on June 12th, hopefully showcasing some updated visuals and improved gameplay.

In the trailer we see small clips that show footballers in motion caption gear, suggesting that the game will feature motion captured movement and motion captured facial animations for select footballers.

FIFA 17 will be available globally from September 29 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Surprised they aren't using the Ignite engine. Considering they made it specifically for sport games and only came out in Nov 2013. Don't really see how Frostbite can do better other than graphics. But sports don't require amazing graphics...Quote
