Final Fantasy XV Event page hints at PC release
Diving into the code of a Final Fantasy XV Event page hints that there will be a PC release of the game, linking to the Steam Store as well as the Xbox Store and Playstation Store.
A lot of older Final Fantasy games have already been released on the Steam Store over the last year, so a PC version of the games newest iteration seems very likely, especially given the popularity of the re-releases of the older games on PC.
While right now there has been no announcement of a PC version for Final Fantasy XV, a programmer for the game Satoshi Kitade has confirmed that a Pre-Alpha build of the game currently runs on PC and can be played from the beginning of the game to the end, confirming that a PC version of the game is highly likely.
While this is by no means a confirmation that a PC version of the game is coming, but given the recent trend of older FF games being re-released on PC it is very likely that Square Enix will be continuing this trend.
Right now we expect the game to launch exclusively on consoles and be released later on PC, but given the fact that the developers already have a working PC version, we expect the PC launch to be releases sooner rather than later.
