Final Fantasy XV's Pre-Beta Build Already Runs on PC

While right now there has been no announcement of a PC version for Final Fantasy XV, a programmer for the game Satoshi Kitade has confirmed that a Pre-Alpha build of the game currently runs on PC and can be played from the beginning of the game to the end, confirming that a PC version of the game is highly likely.

While this is by no means a confirmation that a PC version of the game is coming, but given the recent trend of older FF games being re-released on PC it is very likely that Square Enix will be continuing this trend.

Right now we expect the game to launch exclusively on consoles and be released later on PC, but given the fact that the developers already have a working PC version, we expect the PC launch to be releases sooner rather than later.

Yes it will. I think they see the PC market now

they are also working on a remake of Final Fantasy VII for PC and console which looks outstanding at the moment. FF7 will be made into a trilogy, which shows the extent of the content they want to add. I can't see why they wouldn't do the same with this.Quote

It's Square-Enix. The most money loving company out there. They love money even more than Ubisoft, EA and Activision. They want to release their products on as many devices as possible. Then they want to release them again as "super ultimate edition uber version" a year later.Quote

Wait what?? Where did you get this?? I have been waiting for a PROPER FF7 remake since I saw the PC version available. If they add some nice animated cut scenes and spice up the animations etc, then I wouldnt even care if it costed as much as a AAA games.Quote

Google is your friend

the gameplay i saw from a clip somewhere (possibly E3 2015) looked like something similar to lightning returns. However they state they aim to add alot of extra content, and stretch out the remake into a trilogy.

I suppose you can call FF13 a trilogy too considering you have 13, 13-2 and lightning returns.
