Gears of War Remastered Announced for PC

Gears of War Remastered has been announced for PC, finally bringing the game back to its PC roots. The game will be remade from the ground up with DirectX 12, Keyboard and mouse support and all the graphical options us PC gamers have come to expect.

Gears of War Remastered Announced for PC

Being a first party Microsoft title with DirectX 12 support it is likely that the game will not support DirectX 11 and therefore older operating systems like Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Thankfully PC users on these operating systems will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free for the first year of it's life when it becomes available in July 2015.

Hopefully Microsoft will continue to bring their first party titles to the PC platform, as Halo and Forza would look fantastic at higher resolution and framerates.
