Gears of War Remastered Coming to PC after Xbox One

Gears of War Remastered was announced for PC back at AMD's PC Gaming conference, but now it has been announced by Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's Xbox Division, that the game will be coming to PC after the Xbox One's release date of August 25th.

Right now all we know about the PC version of the game is that it will support 4K resolutions, with no other details being present which are specific to the PC version of the game.

Gears of War Remastered Announced for PC

As far as the PC version of Gears of War Ultimate Edition/ Remastered is concerned us PC gamers are being completely left in the dark, with almost no real information being available for the PC version of the game.

All that is known about the game is what is known about the Xbox One version, which will include 5 new missions which were cut from the original game and will feature updated visuals. Right now it isn't even confirmed if the PC version will use Microsoft's new DirectX 12 API or not.

Hopefully we will learn more about the PC version of the game soon, but right now it seems PC gamers might be having a long wait.

I hope they make the game look less "wet" it was like they went nuts with the glossy maps. Loved the game though.Quote
