Gigabyte Mini ITX GTX 960

Gigabyte has just introduced a Mini ITX version of their GTX 960, with a factory overclock of 1,152MHz base and 1,203MHz Boost clocks and a free copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt this GPU might just be in the perfect position for compact 1080p gaming.

This is a cheaper model of Gigabyte's existing GTX 960 Mini ITX OC model, so this GPU should be a great budget contender, especially if you are looking for a compact system.

This new GPU  has a length of just 181mm, which is much shorter than the longer Windforce edition which is 247mm long. Other differences between the ITX and the Windforce versions is that the ITX version only has a single 6-pin power input, instead of the dual 6-pin power inputs of the Windforce version and the Windforce version has higher stock GPU core clocks of 1,216MHz base and 1,279MHz boost.

Gigabyte GV-N960IX-2GD specifications:

  • -GPU: GeForce GTX 960
  • -GPU clock speeds, base/boost: 1,127/1,178MHz and OC mode of 1,152/1,203MHz
  • -Memory: 2GB GDDR5 on a 128-bit bus
  • -Memory clock: 7010MHz
  • -Display connectors: Dual-link DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/Display Port – one of each
  • -Card size: H=42mm, L=181mm, W=136mm (include bracket)
  • -DirectX Support: Up to DirectX 12

Gigabyte already have a higher end overclocked version of this ITX GTX 960, which is available at Scan UK for the price of merely £165.55, making it one of the cheapest GTX 960s available and definitely the cheapest MINI ITX GTX 960 on the market.

This lower clocked version will be placed in an even cheaper price bracket than the £165 overclocked model, so this card could provide even more value for those looking to create a compact PC or Steam Machine.

This one is quite cute actually and felt quite well built actually.
I actually got one about 2 weeks ago or something which went into the "Mini Beaztey" that I built for my mother.

I haven't updated the thread yet due to being busy and illness, but will soon! Quote
