Gigabyte's GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming will be VR ready with internal HDMI headers, which will allow you to use your case's front panel or rear PCI slots for additional HDMI connections.

This will mean that this GPU will have 3x Displayport connections, 3x HDMI connections, and a single DVI connection, though at this time we do not know if all of them can be used at once.

This GPU will include a 5.25" VR-Link bracket that will give you front mounted HDMI ports as well as front mounts for USB 3.0, allowing you to make most cases VR ready with ease. VR headsets are not "plug and play" devices like controllers of traditional PC displays, so you will need to reboot your PC in order to get your HMD of choice recognised by your PC, though it is still a lot easier than plugging and unplugging it from your rear IO.

Sadly at this time the clock speeds, release date and pricing have not been confirmed for this enthusiast grade GPU.
