Just Cause 3 launches December 1st - E3 trailer

A brand new Just Cause 3 trailer was shown during E3, and it’s got us hyped up. The epic narrator talked about the game’s new features, reworked tools and they even gave us a release date. Fasten your seatbelts and ready your grapple hook, because Just Cause 3 is launching December 1st, this year.

Just Cause 3 takes place in Medici, a tropical islands with more than 400 square miles of destructible environment. Medici is ruled by General Di Ravello, a dictator who is obviously a bit mental. His ultimate ambition is world domination, and it’s your job to stop him. You can do this with all new tools, alongside refined old features. The grapple hook has been reworked with new features, It can now be used to attach enemies to explosive gas bottles, which you can launch into the sky as you all know. You can also use it to attach a helicopter to the ground, causing it to crash.

The parachute has been refined too. You are now able to use two-handed weapons (even rocket launchers) while using the parachute. With this comes a whole new gameplay mechanic, as you can now have full-on gunfights in the air.

Avalanche Studios also added a wingsuit, completing Rico’s arsenal. The trailer didn’t give too much info on the wingsuit, but it’s pretty straight forward. If you want to see the wingsuit in action, you’ll have to check out the trailer for yourself. The trailer also announced new challenges with online leaderboards, including races and destruction battles. Oh, and we also saw Rico riding a bloody rocket. This is Just Cause 3.

Yes!

I wish there was more destruction. I literally would just aim to flatline the whole city if it was possible! Though it's still a very nice improvement compared to the previous game in regards to destructible environments.Quote
