Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Sword Combat

Kingdom Come: Deliverance pushed back to summer 2016

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Sword Combat

Let's have a look at Kingdom Come: Deliverance's sword combat system, which looks like the most combat European martial arts system ever seen in a game.

You can see Warhorse Sword Combat Presentation, which explains a lot of the mechanics and changes that they had to make to the combat in order to get that perfect mix of realism and fun gameplay.

"We spent thousands of hours with the research of medieval sword combat to make it as realistic as possible! If you want to try the combat yourself, play the Technology Alpha of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, available with additional content for people backing Kingdom Come: Deliverance"

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in summer 2016.

I think "a while" may be a slight understatement lol. still looking forward to the end product though.
But it may hurt it a bit if it gets released after some games showcasing dx12 get released, lets hope it does not take that much longer.Quote

Hopefully they can get a new build of Cryengine that supports DX12. Its supposed to release next year so they should be able to make it work. It'd probably help the performance of the game since it's basically all physics pipelines they are using for combat.Quote
