Kingdom Come: Deliverance Pushed Back to Summer 2016

Kingdom Come: Deliverance pushed back to summer 2016 as the Studio plans to make the the game much larger than was originally intended. The developer also announced the availability of the game's Tech Alpha 0.3 for those who have backed the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance a realistic single-player RPG set in the medieval Europe, but unlike many other Open World games in this  kind of setting Magic is not part of the game. This open-world sandbox will be filled with period accurate scenery, clothing and architecture and will feature one of the most accurate melee combat system ever seen in a game.

the game will be getting many more quests than was initially planned, which will add a considerable amount of time to development of the game, though it is hard to argue with the idea of more content. Warhorse's David Vavra had this to say.

"Now, the not-so-good news... We originally said the game was going to be released by the end of the year or [in] the first month of 2016," Vavra said. "At the current stage, we realized that we will need a little bit more time, so the current plan is to release the game a few months later, most likely in the middle of [2016]."

"We planned to have about 100 quests, it's a lot more than we planned originally, and it will take a little bit more time."

Kingdom Come is a game which has taken a lot of my interest, with good graphics, a authentic setting and promise of delivering a realistic experience made me a backer of the game almost as soon as it reached Kickstarter. I for one am happy that the game has been delayed, as Warhorse promise that the game will be made much larger and if there is anything that is good for a role playing game it is a large amount of content.

I figured it would be pushed back as it is quite ambitious though i have been playing the alpha and it is fun but not really sure how much of the game it really represents as it is such a small part of itQuote

As a nerd who yearns for open world single-player gaming (screw MMOs), I support this!Quote
