Kojima productions First Game confirmed for PC

 

The newly formed Kojima Productions has announced a Partnership with Sony and will be creating a PS4 “Console Exclusive” Game. This comes not long after it was officially announced that Hideo Kojima had officially departed from Konami.

It has now been confirmed that this PS4 “console exclusive” game will be coming to the PC platform, but at a later date than the PS4 version. 

 

What other platforms will Kojima’s first independent title be available on, besides PS4?
The title is planned to become available on PC (after PS4).

  

 

  

The term “Console Exclusive” is a term which is fairly new to this generation, with the only other titles that are known as “Console Exclusives” being Titanfall, Street Fighter V and Rise of the Tomb Raider, all of which were exclusive to a single console platform but were also released on PC. 

With how good of a PC Port Metal Gear Solid V was and how well it was received by most PC gamers it will be great to see more games come to the platform from the same team. Hopefully Sony will be continue to support development on the PC platform alongside the PS4 like they have already done with Street Fighter 5. 

This generation is a good generation for PC, since the consoles manufacturers are focusing a lot more on each other rather than on PC, allowing a lot less console exclusive titles to be released. Hopefully more exclusive franchises will make the move to PC in the future.
