LG's latest UltraGear gaming monitor is a 240Hz 45-inch Ultra-Wide OLED beast

LG has just revealed a new UltraGear series gaming monitor that promises PC gamers a large format ultra-wide OLED screen that offers gamers ultra-low response times, high quality HDR support, ultra high refresh rates, and a resolution of 3440x1440. Meet the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE-B, LG's latest OLED gaming monster. 

With a listed grey-to-grey response time of 0.03ms and a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, the 45GR95QE-B is an incredibly fast monitor, making the screen ideal for all gaming applications. The fact that this screen utilises an OLED panel should give this screen strong HDR support, giving gamers access to minimal screen latency, high refresh rates, ultra high levels of visual quality. In most regards, this monitor is the screen that many hardcore PC gamers have been waiting for.

With a 45-inch display size and its 21:9 aspect ratio, this monitor is almost 1 metre wide and is exceptionally heavy with its near 11 kg mass. Like most high-end gaming monitors, LG's UltraGear 45GR95QE-B features a FreeSync Premium certification from AMD and is listed as being Nvidia G-Sync Compatible. This monitor also features an anti-glare screen coating, a remote control, RGB support, and both HDMI and DisplayPort screen inputs.

LG has listed their UltraGear 45GR95QE-B monitor on their website with a price tag of $1,699.99 and has stated that pre-orders for this monitor will start on December 12th. LG expects to start shipping this monitor to consumers on December 28th.
