Logitech has announced their first ever silent mice

Today Logitech has announced their first ever silent mice, allowing PC users to click freely without disturbing anyone else, a must for those who have to work on the go.

Logitech claims that their new M330 Silent Plus and M220 Silent mice will deliver the same precision, durability and "click" feel while producing no noise, which will certainly please those who share an office with you. These new mice will offer a 90% reduction in noise over their non-silent mice.

Silence is golden, which is exactly why Logitech has created the mouse. In today's PC market everyone is looking for silence, be it with silent cooling fans, water cooling pumps, GPUs and even keyboards, taking this to the mouse market is simply a logical step forward. Below is a statement from Logitech's brand director Anatoliy Polyanker.

We live in a social world, whether you work in a shared space or at home, but sometimes silence really is golden,

That's why we created the M330 Silent Plus and the M220 Silent mice. Our engineers studied the sources of noise made by a computer mouse and created ways to reduce the decibel level without sacrificing quality

Logitech has announced their first ever silent mice

Logitech's M330 Silent Plus will release sometime in September for $29.99 and the M220 Silent will release in October for $24.99

While this is a cool idea, I bet it's strange in use, the tactile 'click' is strange to not have. I used to be an avid believer in no haptic feedback on phones, but since getting my edge I can't use it without it... :S then again, that was compared to a one plus one, with a motor that audibly buzzed loudly with every haptic feedback it did...Quote
