Metal Gear Solid V will be 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One

Metal Gear Solid V's Launch Date moved forward on PC

Metal Gear Solid V will be 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One

Metal Gear Solid V will be 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One, with both versions having a framerate of 60FPS.  This game will also be released on last generations consoles, the PS3 and Xbox 360, with both versions working at 720p 30FPS, which is a big reduction in both the framerate and resolution when compared to the current generation release.

This comes days afte rhte PC system requirements of the game have been released.

Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain system requirements released

Moving to the PC version, when compare the system requirements of The Phantom Pain to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PC requirements, The Phantom Pain is not significantly higher, with GPU requirements being exactly the same and the CPU requirements being lightly bumped up from an Sandybridge i5 to a Haswell based 4th generation i5. Hopefully this means that this game will be an equally good PC port.

Sadly we have not been given the requirement of the game for both AMD CPUs and GPUs, which is sad to see.

I don't have a PS4 or an Xbone so I don't care. I'll be more than happy if I can run the game at 60+ fps on my rig.

I also want to see a good MGS4 PC port, but it probably won't happen.Quote

Yeah, the lighting is definitely superior on the PC. It's generally a lot sharper as well.Quote
