MSI reveals its first OLED gaming monitor at Computex 2022

At Computex 2022, MSI are showcasing their new monitor, an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor that features a 175Hz refresh rate, a 1800R curvature, and a 0.1ms G2G response time.

With its Quantum Dot OLED monitor, MSI's new MEG 342C QD-OLED monitor can offer users deep blacks and bright highlights with a peak brightness of around 1,000 nits. The monitor also supports adaptive-sync VRR, allowing this screen to offer VRR support to users of both AMD and Nvidia GPU hardware.

At this time, MSI has not revealed the pricing, release date, or full specifications of this new monitor, though this screen is considered to be a direct competitor to Dell's Alienware AW3423DW. Both screens use the same Samsung made Quantum Dot OLED panel, and both displays are expected to feature similar pricing.

MSI has branded their MEG 342C QD-OLED as having "QD Premium Colour", with the screen offering users  wide colour gamut with 99.3% DCI-P3, 97.8% Adobe RGB and 139.1% sRGB coverage. This screen is also said to be factory calibrated and feature a delta E value of <2.
