Mushkin Going Graphics Again

Mushkin Going Graphics Again

Early last year, memory manufacturer Mushkin made their first tentative entry into the graphics card market with their 8800GT XP. Seeing as it’s nigh on impossible to find one of those, its pretty obvious things didn’t go over too well. Now it seems that Mushkin is ready to make another push in that direction with plans to release an array of GT200 series cards under the UltimateFX product line name.

Perhaps to distinguish themselves from other manufacturers, Mushkin has chosen a somewhat unorthodox packaging scheme, utilizing a wooden box emblazoned with the UltimateFX name.  Currently there is no word on pricing or availability.  Also, aside from this initial push on the Nvidia front, word is that Mushkin will be bringing out a number of ATI Radeon cards later as well.

Will Mushkin have more luck and become a real player in the graphics card market this time around?
