No Man's Sky has received a new PC patch

No Man's Sky has received a new PC patch which adds support for more hardware and improved in-game framerates. This patch has already been released on Steam and GOG, with the PS4 version of the patch coming later today.

This patch is 20.7MB in size and currently has no official patch notes, though Sean Murray, the head of Hello games says that these will be released later today.

Hello Games has stated that they will be able to resolve around 70% of the known issues with the game this week, stating that only 1% of the game's player base has reported problems to Hello Games.

Wait, the PC patch is only 20MB? I just checked, and the PS4 patch is just over 600MB. Seems weird to me, as the PC port seemed to need a lot more work (apart from random crashes, the PS4 version has been relatively stable). Has it actually improved anything?Quote

I am in the process of retesting the game, but so far it is playing a lot better.

Still need to test the AMD GPUs.Quote
